Roger Fisk Consulting ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use rogerfiskconsulting.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide

When you submit the contact form or join our mailing list, we collect the details you enter—typically your name, email address, organization, area of interest, and any message you choose to send—along with the page where you submitted the form.

Analytics information (only if you consent)

If you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser type, referring sites, and interactions (for example, successful form submissions). If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical data needed to deliver the Site securely (for example, IP address in server logs).

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services;
  • Send mailing-list updates you have requested (you may unsubscribe at any time);
  • Maintain records of correspondence and operate our business;
  • If you consented to analytics, understand how the Site is used and improve it;

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a preference stored in your browser (local storage) to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics. Google Analytics sets its own cookies only after you Accept. You can change your choice anytime using Cookie settings in the Site footer.

Essential operation of the Site does not require analytics cookies. Declining analytics will not prevent you from using forms or browsing content.

Service providers and how we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site, and only as needed for those purposes:

  • Vercel — website hosting;
  • Resend — sending confirmation and notification emails related to form submissions;
  • Google — Google Analytics (if you consent) and spreadsheet storage of form submissions used for our internal records;
  • Email delivery / forwarding providers that route messages sent to our business email addresses.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We retain form and mailing-list information for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and Google’s policies. You may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable exceptions.

Your choices and rights

  • Analytics: Accept or decline via the cookie banner, or reopen Cookie settings in the footer.
  • Mailing list: Unsubscribe by contacting us (or via any unsubscribe link included in future emails).
  • Access, correction, or deletion: Email hello@rogerfiskconsulting.com with your request.

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at the email above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, information you provide may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
